Secure Enterprise Browser (SEB)

Keep Aware Browser Security Overview

What it does

Keep Aware Browser Security is a Secure Enterprise Browser (SEB) delivered as a lightweight extension that installs into the browsers employees already use, rather than a standalone browser or network proxy. It applies security at the point of click, inspecting how pages render and how users interact with them to catch phishing, credential theft, malicious extensions, and risky generative AI use in real time. Because it neither decrypts nor tunnels traffic, protection follows the browser across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.

How it works

The extension deploys silently through MDM, Group Policy, or software distribution and begins monitoring in minutes, giving security teams cross-browser visibility into page visits, extension events, and data transfers. Four capabilities run on this telemetry: Enterprise Browser Security for browser detection and response, Software Extension Security to discover and block malicious extensions, AI Usage Control to govern third-party AI and agent use, and Browser Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to control uploads, downloads, and copy-paste of sensitive data. An Agentic Browser Intelligence layer turns telemetry into automated investigations and actions, streaming findings to Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7, and Tines.

Credentials and traction

Keep Aware holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation, independently audited on an annual basis, with its most recent report available to customers on request. In 2025 it was named one of four finalists in the Black Hat USA Startup Spotlight competition. Named customers span healthcare, legal, and insurance, and include One Workplace, Embold Health, SunStar, Stites, and Christensen Group.
