Yubico (Nasdaq Stockholm: YUBICO) is a publicly traded cybersecurity company and inventor of the YubiKey hardware security key for phishing-resistant MFA and passwordless authentication. Founded in 2007 by Stina and Jakob Ehrensvärd, Yubico co-created the FIDO U2F and FIDO2/WebAuthn open standards and sells to enterprises, SMBs, and individuals worldwide. YubiKeys are manufactured in Sweden and programmed in the USA.
