Transcend is a data privacy and governance software company founded in 2017 by Ben Brook and Mike Farrell. It builds a platform that lets enterprises automate data subject requests, manage consent and preferences, inventory personal data, and govern how that data flows into third-party systems and AI tools. The company raised a $40 million Series B in 2024, bringing total funding to roughly $90 million from investors including Accel, Index Ventures, and StepStone Group. Customers include Robinhood, Notion, Brex, Groupon, and Patreon.
