Tigera builds Calico, an open-source and commercial platform for Kubernetes networking, network policy, and observability, along with governance and security tooling for AI agent and MCP workloads. Calico spans Calico Open Source, self-managed Calico Enterprise, and SaaS Calico Cloud, with eBPF and pluggable data planes for pod networking, microsegmentation, ingress and egress gateways, and threat detection. Founded by the original Project Calico engineering team, Tigera serves cloud-native and AI platform teams in regulated and large-scale Kubernetes environments.
