Root (root.io Inc.) builds an agentic container and software supply chain security platform that automatically remediates known vulnerabilities in open-source container images and application dependencies. Using a fleet of AI agents it calls Agentic Vulnerability Remediation, the platform patches the exact versions a customer already runs instead of forcing upgrades or rebuilds from source, and ships signed provenance with every fix. Led by CEO Ian Riopel and CTO John Amaral, Root serves DevOps, platform, and security teams across FinTech, SaaS, and defense, and contributes to CNCF, OWASP, and OASIS open standards work.
