Promon is a Norwegian cybersecurity company founded in 2006 and headquartered in Oslo. It develops Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP), app shielding, and code hardening technology that protects mobile, desktop, and SDK applications after they are compiled, without requiring access to source code. Promon serves banks, fintechs, payment providers, gaming, streaming, and public sector organizations worldwide, and its technology protects apps used by more than 2 billion people. Founded by Tom Lysemose, the company has been recognized in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Application Security.
