NetSPI is a penetration testing as a service (PTaaS) and attack surface management vendor founded in 2001, employing more than 350 in-house pentesters rather than brokering work to a freelance marketplace. The company sells PTaaS, external attack surface management (EASM), cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM), and breach and attack simulation through The NetSPI Platform, with published customer stories from Microsoft, Medtronic, Chubb, Trimble, and Gong. KKR led a $410 million growth investment in 2022, and NetSPI acquired CAASM vendor Hubble Technology in June 2024, with Hubble founder Tom Parker joining as chief technology officer.
