Keyfactor

Keyfactor is a machine identity management and PKI specialist founded in 2001 as Certified Security Solutions and renamed Keyfactor in 2018. It merged with Swedish PKI vendor PrimeKey, maintainer of the open-source EJBCA certificate authority, in July 2021, and acquired InfoSec Global and CipherInsights in 2025 to add cryptographic posture management. The privately held company is backed by Insight Partners and Sixth Street Growth, and took a $1 billion strategic growth investment led by Summit Partners in July 2026.
