Island builds an enterprise work platform centered on a Chromium-based Enterprise Browser that embeds security, access control, and productivity features in the browsing session, extended in 2026 with Enterprise AI and Enterprise Network modules for AI agent governance and SASE-style network access. Founded in 2020 by Mike Fey and Dan Amiga, the company has raised about $730 million, including a $250 million Series E in 2025 at a $4.8 billion valuation, and serves 450 customers across finance, healthcare, government, retail, business process outsourcing, and technology, including Pfizer, Swiss Life, Teleperformance, Carta, and Mattress Firm. The Enterprise Browser holds SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and TX-RAMP certifications and was named a Leader and Outperformer in the 2025 GigaOm Radar for Secure Enterprise Browsing.
