Formalize is a Danish regtech company that builds governance, risk, and compliance software for European businesses navigating regulations such as NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, and GDPR. The platform began as the whistleblowing tool Whistleblower Software and expanded into a connected compliance suite spanning risk, policy, third-party, and privacy management. It serves more than 8,000 organizations across 80-plus countries and was selected as Spain's national whistleblowing authority. The company raised a 30 million euro funding round in October 2025.
