Ermes Cyber Security is an Italian AI and browser security vendor founded as a spin-off from the Polytechnic University of Turin (Politecnico di Torino). Its platform uses a lightweight browser extension that sits between the browser engine and web content to block phishing, credential theft, and browser-based malware, and to control what employees share with generative AI tools, without VPN or proxy infrastructure. It sells to European enterprises and protects more than 100,000 devices for customers including KPMG, Carrefour, TIM, IBSA, and Bonelli Erede.
