Dropzone AI builds an agentic SOC platform whose AI analyst agents autonomously investigate security alerts, run threat hunts, and operationalize threat intelligence for enterprise security teams and MSSPs. Founder and CEO Edward Wu spent eight years building the detection engine at network detection and response vendor ExtraHop before founding the company in 2023. Dropzone AI has raised $57.4 million in total funding, including a $37 million Series B announced in January 2026 that was led by Theory Ventures and joined by Madrona, Decibel Ventures, Pioneer Square Labs, and IQT. It is SOC 2 Type II certified and holds 14 U.S. patents related to AI security agents; customers include UiPath, Zapier, and Mysten Labs.
