Deep Instinct

Deep Instinct is a preemptive data security vendor that applies a purpose-built deep learning framework (DSX Brain) to block zero-day malware before execution across cloud storage, NAS, applications, and endpoints. Founded in 2015 by Guy Caspi, Nadav Maman, and Dr. Eli David, the company is headquartered in New York City with product and R&D operations in Tel Aviv and offices in London, Frankfurt, and Tokyo; Lane Bess, former CEO of Palo Alto Networks and COO of Zscaler, became CEO in 2022. Its investors include BlackRock, PayPal Ventures, Millennium, and NVIDIA, with roughly $322M raised to date. The DSX platform pairs pre-execution prevention with DSX Companion (DIANNA), a GenAI engine for real-time threat explainability that reached general availability in September 2025.
