Crystal Intelligence is an Amsterdam-based blockchain intelligence company that began as a Bitcoin traceability research project inside Bitfury and launched its platform publicly in 2018. The company builds blockchain analytics and crypto compliance software used by banks, payment providers, crypto exchanges, virtual asset service providers (VASPs), regulators, and law enforcement agencies to trace illicit funds and meet anti-money-laundering obligations. Crystal received a strategic investment from Tether, acquired the Scam Alert off-chain intelligence database, and works with partners including the European Central Bank, Dubai Police, and FICO.
