C1, formerly ConductorOne, is an identity security company that builds a governance and access management platform for human, machine, and AI-agent identities. It was founded in 2020 by Alex Bovee and Paul Querna, who previously built security products at Okta, and rebranded from ConductorOne to C1 in April 2026 to reflect a focus on securing access in AI-driven enterprises. The company sells to Fortune 500 and high-growth technology firms and has raised more than $100 million, including a $79 million Series B led by Greycroft in 2025.
